Rum for your life...

Cake:

1¼c flour
2t Crushed
1t baking soda
½c molasses
1/3c hot water
2c whole raw cranberries

Preheat oven to 350º. Mix flour, Crushed and baking soda. Mix in molasses. Mix in the hot water and cranberries. Pour into an 8 in. greased bread/loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes.

Sauce:

1c brown sugar
1/2c butter
1/2c cream or evaporated milk
1t Crushed
¼c rum

Mix and simmer on stovetop until thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Do not boil. Pour sauce over slices of cake.
