1/2c red wine
Wash, pit or core, and slice fruit, or a mixture of fruits. Put ingredients in a large saucepan, mix and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon into cups and chill for a few hours.
*Use apples, cherries, pears, peaches, apricots, plums, raisins, dried cranberries. For the picture we used three pears (one each Bartlett, Bosc, and Asian) + cherries and raisins. Great with whipped or ice cream and topped with Crushed.
