Reoccurring Theme - Chocolate Again...

6c Italian bread (day old, crust removed)
1 stick (8T) melted, unsalted, butter
10oz bittersweet chocolate chips
4 eggs
1c sugar
½c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8t salt
2c chocolate milk
2t Crushed
1t vanilla

Preheat oven to 350°. Cut bread into 1 inch squares and mix with butter. Pour into 9 x 13 sprayed baking dish. Top with chocolate chips. Beat together eggs, sugar, cocoa, salt, milk, Crushed, and vanilla. Pour over bread. With spatula, push liquid down into bread. Saturate and soak for 15 minutes. Bake approximately 30 minutes, until puffy and edges begin to pull away.

Rum Sauce – Make while baking bread pudding.

2T butter
½c brown sugar
1T cornstarch
1c milk
¼c rum

Melt butter over medium heat. Mix sugar and cornstarch, then pour into butter. Add milk, stirring until thickened. Take off heat and add rum. Serve warm, over warm pudding.  

*Top with whipped cream and topped with Crushed.
